The Storebro 410 Commander was released in 2004 and was a completely newly developed model. It offered a more attractive design than her rather boring big sister Storebro 475 Commander. Many of the negative points of the big sister were removed. During the production period the boat was permanently upgraded. The SRC 410 Commander shared the hull with the Nimbus Nova 42, which was also built by Storebro, and was delivered on special request as Storebro 42 Nova. For the Storebro Nova the grid behind the side windows was replaced with a in Storebro manner varnished piece of wood with a milled crown logo.
In addition to the standard white hull, the SRC 410 was also offered with a dark blue hull. This variant was in great demand in Great Britain, among other places.
The ship completed the Nimbus/Storebro Commander product line of boats from 34 to 47 feet.
The space utilization of the ship is excellent. Old virtues like a bench for the passengers were taken up again. The ship has two sliding doors for quick exit to the side.
As a part of the facelift an alternative to the first available 2-cabin version, the 3-cabin version was developed. Access to the second guest cabin was created by cutting off the shower of the owner's bath. For this cabin the unused storage space beneath the drivers-place, which was previously difficult to reach only through a hatch, was used.
For the model year 2008, a new two-cabin layout was presented. The guest cabin was now equipped with three beds, so that the ship possessed now by default five permanent berths. A little problem was the poor ventilation of the 3-bed guest cabin. The standard equipment included only one port light on the starboard side. This problem was solved on the Storebro 435 Commander, which got two port lights on starboard and one on the port side.
Unlike her sister Nova 42, which followed a little later, the SRC 410 Commander was only offered with shaft drive. While the prototype was equipped with the well-known Volvo Penta TAMD63P with 355 hp each, the new Volvo Penta D6 was used for the other ships. The standard engine then became the D6-310I with 303 hp at the shaft. This was clearly inferior to the TAMD63P in terms of power, but its acceleration and power curve were considered better and more harmonious.
It was not until model number 4521 that the Volvo Penta D6-370I with 363 hp at the shaft was used. This engine then became the standard for the SRC 410 Commander, with one exception. This engineisation also took into account the weight development of the ships.
In the meantime, the D6-330 has also been listed in the price list. However, this was never installed in a SRC 410.

Compared to the first ships, further boats obviously became somewhat heavier. While the first brochure pictures show a 410 with the side inscription "Storebro Royal Cruiser 410 Commander" and the water pass with a blue ribbon below the bathing platform, later models with "Storebro 410 Commander" and a blue ribbon at the water pass can be seen, which extends all the way to the bathing platform. This also visually stretches the somewhat chubby line of the ship.
