Biscay

was the name for the version of a model with a closed deck house, without aft cabin and instead with an open cockpit. The term was introduced with the launch of the Storö 31 as a differentiator for the "Adriatic" or "Baltic".

The next ship was the Storö 40 which was built as a Biscay from 1980 as well as a short time later the Storö 34.

With the release of the SRC 340 Biscay this version became very popular and was also applied to later designs (SRC 380 Biscay, SRC 420 Biscay, SRC 430 Biscay). Last model of this type was the SRC 465 Biscay.
