Biscay
was the name for the version of a model with a closed deck house, without aft cabin and instead with an open cockpit. The term was introduced with the launch of the
Storö 31 as a differentiator for the "
Adriatic" or "
Baltic".
The next ship was the
Storö 40 which was built as a
Biscay from 1980 as well as a short time later the
Storö 34.
With the release of the
SRC 340 Biscay this version became very popular and was also applied to later designs (
SRC 380 Biscay,
SRC 420 Biscay,
SRC 430 Biscay). Last model of this type was the
SRC 465 Biscay.
